Running in Circles

Woke up on a Monday,

same ceiling, same routine.

Chasing something shapeless

in a world that feels machine.

Everybody’s moving,

but I’m stuck inside my head

Running through the questions

that I never said.

Feels like I’m falling behind

on a race no one asked me to run.

But maybe the point isn’t winning

maybe it’s learning where I’m from.

I’m running in circles,

trying to find a way out.

Screaming through the silence

but never loud enough to shout.

If the world is spinning faster,

maybe I’ll spin too

till I crash into the truth

I’ve been avoiding.

Dreams on my to-do list,

dusty from last year.

People say I’m “almost there,”

but “there” keeps disappearing.

Searching for direction

in a maze that never sleeps

But maybe getting lost

is how we learn to breathe.

If every wrong turn

is just another chance to grow,

then maybe the confusion

is the only thing I know.
