selling lies wrapped in gold.

Everybody’s smiling

but their hearts feel a thousand years old.

Filters on their faces,

numbers in their veins

We dance inside a circus

that’s run by fear and fame.

You tell me this is living,

but it feels more like decay.

I'm done with all the noise

I won’t join your plastic parade.

Plastic parade, marching in place,

all of us losing the truth we chase.

Fake the smile, fake the dream,

nothing is ever what it seems.

I won’t fade in your masquerade

I’m breaking out of this plastic parade.

Counting likes like oxygen

just to feel alive.

But when the world stops watching,

tell me

who survives?

Billboards tell us what to want,

what to hate and what to buy.

We cheer inside the silence

pretending we can’t cry.

This isn’t how we’re meant to breathe,

this chaos isn’t fate.

So take your empty promises

I’m done with this charade.
