Renji Kawamoto, A Calm Alt-Ballad Voice Walking Through Rain, Memory, and Silence
Renji Kawamoto is a restrained and emotionally focused artist who expresses loss with quiet realism rather than excess. His music carries a calm, independent atmosphere, allowing simple images — rain, empty streets, shadows, and distant memories — to speak with weight.
(Rain After Goodbye),” Renji captures the feeling of walking forward after a goodbye that still has not fully faded. The song moves through rain-soaked streets and unresolved longing with a controlled emotional tone, reflecting a person who does not collapse under heartbreak, but keeps moving while carrying what remains.

(Rain After Goodbye)

(Rain After Goodbye)
Rain keeps falling
On my soul
I still call
Your name tonight
Even if
You're far away
My heart still
Belongs to you
Rain keeps falling
On my soul
I still call
Your name tonight
Someday maybe
We'll meet again
Waiting for you
Walking Through the Rain With What Still Remains
“雨のオーチャード (Rain After Goodbye)” is a song I wrote about the kind of goodbye that does not disappear right away.
I wanted this song to feel quiet and honest. Not dramatic. Not overly explained.Just the sound of rain, a city at night, and a heart still carrying someone’s name.
There are memories you cannot go back to, even if they stay clear inside you. There are promises that loosen in the wind, and feelings that become part of the rain before you know how to let them go.
For me, this song is about continuing to walk.Even without an answer.Even without turning back.Even when a part of you is still waiting somewhere beyond the rain.
(Rain After Goodbye)” reaches anyone who has ever moved forward quietly while still carrying a love they could not completely leave behind.
