Rise from the Blue

I woke up with a heavy heart,

Rain runnin’ down my window frame.

Life’s been hittin’ harder lately,

But I’m still standin’ in the game.

Lost a little faith last winter,

Thought my soul was turnin’ stone…

Then a small light hit my darkness,

Said, “You ain’t walkin’ this road alone.”

Pain tries to drown me,

But hope keeps pushin’ through.
